The Coronation Weekend
A three day event Celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III
by the Salcombe Town Council and its Associations
Saturday May 6th

The Coronation Ceremony will be showing at Cliff House, The Kings Arms, The Young Youth Centre, The Winking Prawn, The Salcombe Rugby Club, The Ferry Inn and The Fortescue for those who wish to share this momentous occasion with others.
After the ceremony, please join in with the Community Cream Tea in White Strand car park. From 3pm scones jam & cream will be offered to all with hot and cold drinks.

The Great British Fancy Dress competition will also take place, in White Strand at 4pm. Categories are under 10’s, 10’s – 16’s, over 16’s, and family groups. Photographers will be around so no better way to capture the spirit of the day and make it a day for us all to remember. The Winking Prawn will judge and award prizes to the winners.
From 5pm a flotilla of boats dressed overall will parade in the estuary. The best viewing points will be from Normandy Landing and Cliff Gardens. The best dressed Boat will be judged by the Harbour Master, Cameron Sims Stirling and the prize awarded by the Boat Store.

Then we do it all again the next day for The Big Lunch at Salcombe Primary School 1pm start, look out for the full programme.
